Kosta`s in Brewer

I had High Hopes prior to visiting. Online photos of food looks delicious. We were finally able to get a date night out since all of our family lives in another state and chose Kostas. They were very busy and we were forgotten about. The manager was so kind to take care of us but service was very slow. We ordered the bacon-wrapped scallops in a Teriyaki glaze that was far too salty. We also ordered a balsamic glaze bruschetta pizza that did not come out as described. My husband got a burger and fries that he said it was delicious. As previously mentioned the manager was super kind and made the experience as right as she could but we were still disappointed with our overall experience.

Nice lunch specials, great service as always

The food and drinks were good. It was quite busy as it was a Friday night. Didn't have enough chairs for everyone though. Our party had been there for a couple hours with two of us standing. When one party left we tried to grab a chair but they told us we could not. Perhaps if you're regularly busy like that you should have enough chairs for everyone. If it wasn't for that I would give 5 stars. Was overall a good experience.

Went for lunch and there's a fairly limited selection of actual Greek food. What they have is very good, but it's limited at lunch. Have yet to go for dinner.

Kosta's is hit or miss. Sometimes when we go there the food is excellent, and the service spectacular. Other time when I've gone there the service is mediocre at best, though the food is still solid. Overall, the food is pretty good, so if you don't care much whether the service is stellar or not, it's a safe bet, I've never had any real complaints about the food. If you care about service quality, it's a hit or miss chance, you may be better searching elsewhere. Ergo, my 3 star rating, because the food has consistently been 3-4 stars, but the service is anywhere from a 2 to a 5 (usually lower, sadly).

Very good food. Great onion soup. Their large dining room on left side of restaurant had 2 larger groups that were pretty loud. They need to do some sound muffling in that room. Hang some tapestries

The moussaka hit the spot! Service was quick and friendly. Very reasonable prices.

The food was delicious. We had the Spanikopita appetizer and then for dinner the Chicken Marsala which was fantastic and the baked haddock which was also very good. Great place to go for a nice dinner and drinks.

Really nice bar/restaurant with good mixed drinks and food. We often get takeout as well and it is always hot and nice and fresh.

Absolutely wonderful food, never been to a Greek restaurant myself and got the chance to try a few weird delicious things with my fiancee for our 3 year anniversary and Valentine's day dinner. I had made reservations a week prior and they had a cute table set aside for us with our names on it which made my fiancee super happy. Great atmosphere and wonderfully pleasant staff. One staff member stopped while we were taking photos and offered to take ones of us which was amazing. Overly happy with this resturant, staff and food! 10 out of 10 would suggest.

Great food and atmosphere

Went here for lunch recently and while I've heard so many great things, I must admit it was a deflating experience.. My children had to order a second kids meal to share after they each devoured their first because they were still hungry! I've never had to do that anywhere and I want impressed. The budget I had was actually pretty good. The lunch menu may have been lacking the "Mediterranean" options I was looking for and what this place prides itself on. Many persons I'm acquainted with go here to drink at night, but I didn't get the impression that this is a good spot to do that. I will give this place a chance to redeem itself someday soon as I definitely want to try their dinner menu

The food is always amazing! I come here when I want a taste of home. Their baklava and spanitkopita is always the best. Serves are great and friendly too!

The food we received was EXCELLENT. The only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 is because our burgers were supposed to have fries with them and there were not any, which was very disappointing.. we will be ordering here again! Just maybe next time will make sure we receive all our food first!

Good quality. Food has yet to disappoint. Bill wasn't exactly cheap but you get what you pay for. Well made fresh food. Definitely recommend.

Our family really enjoyed the take out we got yesterday: 2 pizzas, 2 gyros, wings, tzatziki and pita. Everything was phenomenal and it was quick. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere made me want to stay versus take it all to-go. I’m glad to see a local restaurant is up and running again and hopefully thriving with the aforementioned components.

Kenzie is the best bar tender I've ever had! Such a bubbly personality and amazing person! And Carrie without a doubt runs a tight ship. Keep up the awesome work 10/10. Definitely coming back!

Looking for dinner while traveling. Luckily we found Kosta’s. The calamari were fresh (something you don’t get in KS). I had the eggplant Parmesan... fantastic. Husband has the triple skewers again delicious. My daughter and her boyfriend both had chicken entrees and loved them. Side note: my husband said the pita was the best he’s ever had. Bonus: we met a really nice local couple that gave us a tip for today.

Located on an easy to get to location, Kostas is an enviting building. When you walk in, you are welcomed by a beautiful floor to cealing wood bar. Stocked with most liquor choices, this is a good area to wait at, snd grab a drink if there are wait times.We where seated within a minute of entering, to a nuce corner wooden booth. Nive spacing made it comfy and the rable was clean of debris. Our waitress promptly asked for our drinks and returned in less than a minute.Now the menu is well writen and it had an easy to find menu selection. We order the Greek app plate, an app that included pita bites, sponakopata, and cukes with humus or cuke sauce. Our app was cooked and served in under five minutes. We then ordered our main courses. Chicken broccoli Alfredo and Chicken Marcela. We eat out and these plates filled us. I ate 7/8 of my plate but the homemade alfredo sauce with juicy chicken just filled me up.I will be suggesting this resturants to everyone.

Kostas is in an old Burger King (evident because they never replaced the tiled floor). The menu has changed since they first opened. Burgers are great, portions more than enough and the price won't break the bank.

MUST give 5 stars! First time visitor. I am extremely particular and from the minute I walked through the door I have been pleased. First, I showed up 10 minutes early and instead of being greeted by a locked door I was greeted by a host and server (I believe Garrett and Rachel...I hope I'm right with the names) that made me feel very welcome. Second, this place is clean! I even checked the plants...CLEAN! Third, the beer is ice cold and they have a great selection. Lastly, and most importantly, the food was amazing. Large portions for the price and delicious. Would recommend again and again. Look forward to next visit!
